Festival 'Makel Los Sans Tache' in CH-Fribourg, 2011
The 2nd festival in CH-Fribourg (goes back to the idea of Roselyne Crausaz and Horst Tögel 2005), took place 16th to 20th June 2011 in the big festival hall 'St. Léonard' (Concerts) and in the pedagogic high-school (theatre), after 3 years of intensive preparation by the local committee under the presidency of Roselyne Crausaz. After the first festival, everybody realized . . . this event must live on . . . !
This festival 2011, with 3 Gala performances on 3 evenings, was again an outstanding succes for all those involved, the promoters and participants from 6 different countries. All the spectacles presented, music and theatre, inspired the audiance, with many unforgettable highlights during the 3 day event, like the spectacular drum group 'Ai Kwang Won' from South Korea ; or the touching collective project of the 'Tango-Insieme orchestre' from CH-Basel together with the deaf Corinne Parrat, Miss Handicap Swiss 2009, and MUX, an organisation from Zürich, who communicate the tango music by sign language to people with a severe hearing handicap; the Eeben-Hézer Band from Lausanne with the genius blues rhythms from Johnny Hallyday and Bob Marley ; the theatre group 'Association Insieme' from CH-Fribourg with their wonderful performance on the stage; and last but not least the Brenz Band from D-Ludwigsburg with their great commitment and the privilege again to open the 2011 festival. All performances of all 20 groups were inimitable ! The artistic and musical level throughout the 2011 festival was impressive, the performances brilliant and amazingly diverse.
